Yeh I have to admit that I was just in awe of all the new faces and the gorgeous bikes (quietly wiping away my drooling) Will definitely make an effort to talk to more nice people next time.

Keep coming and you will meet and make new friends.

I noticed a few were sitting by them self.
Butt in and introduce your self, we do not bite, we were playing a bit of catch with people that we had not seen over winter.

Looks like a good turn-up - I am worried that you all 'form-a-circle' before the ride .... on Honda rides we at least get to know each other before 'forming-the-circle'........

I'll have to get myself away from work early one Wednesday and join in the fun - any excuse to get photos of my bike on the net

Yes... There is one radar unit at the Lyttelton end of the tunnel as far as I know but have seen all sorts of test vehicles and equipment hanging around there so who knows.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

I know a guy who works in tunnel control. They have always been able to work out your avg speed through tunnel from one end to the other. If you are speeding excessively they will pull you up and give you a ticket. I find it's just easier to stay around the 50-55kmph and then it doesn't matter what they do to catch speeders.
