Slap an RGV250 cylinder on a Suzuki or Kawasaki rotary valve bottom end and Bobs your uncle. Plenty of good chamber designs to go with these cylinders. I have heard Team ESE have figured out how to air cool them with out to much effort, might see one on the track next year.

Yeah it's the 'slapping' that may be a drama. A cursory look at a modern cylinder sees that they are attached by 4 widely spaces bosses at the bottom of the cylinder. Small commuter 2 strokes have either internal full length bolts, or aren't spaced anywhere near as wide. Considerable crankcase modification required.

No it isn't. But RGV was a roadbike not a competition bike.

Where on EARTH did the "road registered" bit EVER mean it can be a Bucket?
If it's a competition bike and road registered it CANNOT be used as a bucket. The rules clearly state no COMPETITION based engines. 'Road registered' has no place in Buckets.
