    Private Message Quiz

Q: How do you get the "Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder" Personal Message checkbox to stay checked. You know, default behaviour. So's I don't ever forget to check it when I'm in a hurry which is pretty much all the time. And let's face it, it's bloody difficult to remember the last batch of outrageous lies you've just unloaded on some unsuspecting KBer if you don't have a copy of the aforesaid misspeaking saved in your Sent Items folder thingamajig.

A: And the answer is... (Ten bob to the biker or bikerette who is first with the correct answer. I will be testing to see if you're fibbing so just a wee word of warning - answers that end up with me being seen on YouTube naked will forfeit all rights to the bounty).

    .................................................. .................................................. .......

Ta, in anticipation of all the swift and legendary KiwiBiker assistance I know I shall get.
    Andy.

PS: If it turns out that this thread doesn't belong in the Site Stuff subforum, then I'm buggered if I know where else it should go other than in the rants and raves section but I'm not putting it there as I won't be able to shamelessly increase my post count due to them not being recognised as valid if posted there, I have recently found out. Pity in many ways as there's more posting in R&R than anyplace else on KB - wonder what the attraction is? [/faceitious comment]

    1) Go to your User CP - click on Edit Options - you'll find Private Message options there.

    2) Posts don't count in Site Stuff either...

That's just bloody outrageous. Who do I complain to? Why I never...

(And sundry other expressions of disappointment and such).

Thanks for the tip. You win so here's the 10 bob... blast. Don't seem to have change for a guinea - I'll send you a hatful of blings instead. 'Zat fair enough?

Hi, I just went to reply to a welcome message from the administrators and I wasn't allowed. my computer said my involvement wasn't enough to use messages. What do I do if I have to respond to someone?

Post more. Then have a concrete pill. They're delicious.

Aww you guys are so mean to the newbies!

HTFU = (roughly translated) harden up.

You will be able to send PMs once you have been a member for longer and have posted a bit more. It's an anti-spam protection so we don't have all sorts of weirdos joining and sending unwelcome PMs...

... hmmmm.... it doesn't seem to have worked!
