I could be keen. Could see if SATNR would be heading that way, of course the week before is hotdog night, and so they might not want to go there two weeks in a row.

Must admit, I have noticed that the fireworks (i've seen) over here are a bit sh*te, Id've thought with all the Chinese folk here there would be some rocking stuff around!

I can talk to Jimmie and see if we can swap the nights, and the hot rod club come another night... I might be able to twist his arm... maybe (highly unlikely) but who knows, never say never.

Guy fawkes night is the only only day of the year (aside from opening morning - duck season) that I'm not worried about the police turning up at my house for the explosions..

It is a day not to be wasted..

I feel sorry for Guy Fawkes. He was the only person with good intentions to have entered parliament....

Hehe, nice one. Yeah we used to blow countless shit up, but we were using the real thing - sounds like a brand of petfood and rhymes with vegemite. There was always rolls of black insulation tape, brown or white striped rope stuff, and shiny little capsules rolling around under our passenger seat, just in case we "needed" to "do" something. We never hurt ourselves or anyone else and never remotely intended to, but we came much too close, way too many times, just by not knowing the risks. Unwise, looking back.

These days such antics would have a very dim view taken of them indeed. Back then we did actually get busted in the end, and just had to pay ($150bux ish) for the (small) damage, so that was the end of that. Nowadays I am sure such people would be labeled terrorists, which is sad really, coz we just wanted to have a laugh and make people jump.

    "Wow, Great advise there DB."
