Sure hope he finds something soon - My son went through the same thing. He's 50% through his motorcycle apprenticeship, and they've done away with bikes now. Frustrating for the kid, he's found something in the interim, but wants to get back to finishing his apprenticeship.

    Good luck to Matt

My comments still apply. It is not a case of getting so many shocks you become immune to them That is the fallacy which leads to Sparkys being killed.
It depends what your heart is doing at the time you get the shock. At the wrong time and you don't know anything anymore.

As long as you relise it was a jest reguarding immunity.
Reality is you become more aware of risk and reduce possibilty of shock.Women with no underwear doesnt help though.

Dave - if you can get him to finish his electric and have a solid trade behind him. Wish I did - I'm stuffed if my job goes...... nothing but my pretty face to sell!

I also understand wanting a change. As the boys stated - the gig is about crawl spaces - and he's a NBA size man.

He's probably heard this already, but he should probably go down to Christchurch. He should try Student Job Search - he should qualify as an apprentice, and they have a few good tradie-type jobs on there for 15-20 per hour that he could look at.
