I run a warehouse for a company that wholesales stuff all over new zealand. (just me in the warehouse)

This morning the boss lady comes down to the warehouse with obviously a customer (over-weight female in late 20's) to choose/view some frames off our shelfs,
This isnt un-common and me a being a friendly person always look at them (the customer) to wait for eyecontact for me to greet them and make them feel welcome. (as you do)

This time, this lady walks straight down the stairs and comes close to me next to the boss to get a tray to put picked frames into, the whole time im looking at her waiting for some eyecontact. Acting as if I didnt exist or I had of done something to her, yet she remained very talky-and chatty with the boss lady.

They choosed some frames and then came near me to a packing bench and she seemed to purposely put her back toward me and remain very talkative to the boss lady, it felt rude... I over-heard her say something about her baby, which means shes probably got a partner and Isnt lesbian. (first thought)

As they walked off and started walking back up the stairs the boss lady Said "rod I need to get you to pick 150 things for one of the reps sample packs" straight after a loud " HEHhhh " came from this woman(as if HAHA you got to pick heaps of stuff) I continued to look at her waiting for a lock of eye-contact. She seemed to be looking at the ground infront of me.
I said sure thats no problem at all to the boss as this request was nothing un-common.

What the fuck is going through some womans heads? I feel really sorry for them. If she was at least hot, that would be kinda of okay, but given that she was a fat-moose MADE NO SENSE.

I think you've probably misinterpreted her behaviour, it's not because you're male, it's because you're the only warehouse guy and therefore rate as the monkey, not the organ-grinder...

Being in sales I've spent a lot of time sitting in the receptions of companies both here and in the UK and I've seen receptionists treated like that countless times...it's also amazing how many people can be rude as fuck to a girl answering the phone, then perfectly polite when put though to me.

I highlighted the areas which I believe are likely to be the source of the problem: Post pregnancie hormones raging with "All men are bastards for doing this to women" (read: the birth must have been ultra painful), and she's also feeling like shite cos she hasn't gotten rid of the post baby lard intake.

She probably just has issue with making eye contact in general. Some people just don't have the self confidence to do it, and if she has just had a bubs and not lost her jellie belly then I would say she is not feeling her sexy confident self.
