    Mankind's last great achievement

I was watching this today and had a very tender moment (even Sarge would approve). This is, in my opinion, so far the last great achievement of our species. If I were a pompous prick, I'd say it's awesome to behold. Start at 2:39 if you want to skip the "boring" bit of the first video.

Haven't been quite so touched by anything in quite a while.
    Fuck. My coffee tastes salty.

I disagree. The "automatic" washing machine released all women in Western Civilisation from slavery.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Surely the motorcycle is man's greatest achievement?

the view of the 'flame' as the camera falls behind is very impressive.
Watch out for tow ropes and quickly braking cars

No trolling, the rockets were real... but we've all driven 60s American cars... no way in hell the Americans could have landed on the moon in the 60s

Pfffppp. The clothes have to get found, sorted, stuffed in the machine, made to go, taken out, hung out to dry, bought in when it starts raining, folded and put away.

Kids movies on DVD? Now that's progress

Yeah, but she doesn't have to get up at 4am to light the fire under the copper and stir the clothes for 2 hours before you finish lollygagging in bed and stumble out at 6am demanding a full cooked English breakfast.

Yeah because they went to the moon in Mustangs.

Were you even alive in the 60s?

Name a piece of technology that they'd have needed but didn't have.

    Technology? Car?! Bah!

Technology! U2, SR71, B747, Viking, Mercury, Gemini, Apollo - FTW.

Yeah, I find it surprising that anyone would believe this particular conspiracy BS. You only need to have a fairly basic understanding of space technology to know there was nothing stopping them from going. You also need to realise that the Russians were tracking all the Apollo missions very carefully and you can bet your life they would have exposed any "irregularity" with glee.
When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
