    Hello Kiwi Bikers.

Newbie, just bought my first bike. A shiny red GN250.
Still gotta do my scratchie Learners test, but passed my handling certificate on friday, then bought the bike on friday night!
Been riding pillion with Aff-man for a few rides, had fun, was going to get a scooter for the commute to work, but convinced a motorbike was FAR superior. (no offense scooties.)

Look forward to getting going, want to get some cute red leather boots.

    seeya peeps out there.

Welcome to the family. Get your learners sorted and get riding. Lots of useful tips on the survival tips and 250 forums.
Make sure you get more than just those red boots for protection.
Watch out for those mad cagers .
Summers here so enjoy and take care.

Hi, Yes a friend of our daughter's bought a chinese scooter brand new and it was a pain right from new. I have her on a chinese 250 now and she is away, as a matter of fact she wants to ride down to Wellington on it, on the 17th of November and as she has not ridden on the open road before wants me to ride beside her. So good on you for making the right move you won't regret it. Vern

    Smile thanks

    Thanks for the welcome..
i'm looking at buying a gear set somewhere, wonder if anyone knows where to get good women's gear in small sizes? Most of the stuff i've found on trademe is massive..
I dont mind second hand..will buy new helmet of course though.

red boots would be cool but i'd probably settle for black if the price was right..

You will find that the GN250 will not mono as easily as Aff-Mans bike.
