from 11 tags in a day to 1 tag, and its still part of the long weekend.

Picked this up at about 1:30pm but it was too nice a day to ride straight back home to post. Played in the Rapa for a few hours and only just got home at 5:15pm. Didn't expect it to still be there.
Just pulled the sump plug on the Gixxer so the tag is safe as she ain't going anywhere for the moment.

But give me an hour to change the filter and put the oil back in, grab something to eat and you just never know.

Similar to Hawkeye, picked up the tag, thought about heading home, like the significant other was promised, but the hill and beautiful Wairarapa beckoned. So posted via phone and went and played. Besides I'm sure Quasi can pick it up and deposit it on the coast again

Have just got home and the traffic is crawling along SH2 past my place and the significant other is suggesting I need to get a new watch

Yeah but the coasties don't like using petrol. They just push their bikes between tags

Nope. I normally take a left across the bridge and head along the Martinborough Masterton Rd, then cut across Millars Rd, onto Ponatahi Rd and loop back into Martinborough.

I'll head down Hinakura Rd a bit further next sunny day I have free.

its quite narrow and endless turns and eventually turns into what seems a farm track, then back into a gravel road and you end up in gladstone...you have to go through three gates. On a dry day it woukd be ok for a road bike if you dont mond gravel. When i went down there i thought somehow I had taken a wrong turn but there a a few proper road signs to reasure you you are on the right traxk

Well said to paraphrase the old rugby expression. it was a game of two halves but tagging was the winner on the day
