Gotta sort out the garage today.......... nice day for a ride, pity the bike is off the road, getting new chain and sprockets, new brake lines and pads, balance carbs, new head stock bearings, wheel bearings, and straighten or replace front discs, and fitting a scott oiler.

I don't think I'd like to be cramped up on an R6 - I'd have knee dents on my stomach after 502 ks

I attempted to go for a ride yesterday. Was down at Taupo in the weekend watching the father-in-law race so I thought I owed myself a ride. Starting charging out Pokura Rd and noticed there were people sitting on the side of the road. Nice of them to see me off.

Blat up the road then "holy shit what's all these cars?". Road was closed for a rally. Charged up a side road and bugger me they're here too. Oh well, thought I'd wait and watch some porsches blast around a bumpy intersection.

Got sick of that with all the leathers on so thought I'd see if I could go around them using another side road. Really getting into the twisties then..."these guys are just greedy". They had this road closed as well. Judging by what I could hear from their tyres protesting, I should have actually got off my bike and had a look at this corner.

Instead, I pissed off home and worked on the house. Stink. Didn't get my fix enough.

The r6 is like a cruiser for position compared to the Daytona They don't call 'em the "torture rack" for nothing. Which is kinda weird since I find it quite comfy and better than other bikes. Maybe I was into kinky shit in a past life

Crikey there had been some poor rides in the Waikato

The R6 is comfy if I sit right at the back of the seat, And put the heals of my feet on the pegs, It becomes a lazy boy then but my arms are not long enough to reach the bars :P

And I am not sure if rope works on a bike as it does on a horse :P

    Depends - can you counter-steer a horse?
