    Bank robbery in the Tron

Went to bank the weekend takings this morning. Got to BNZ Ham East and found the place crawling with coppers - cars parked all over the footpath, in the middle of the road, blocking side roads etc etc. Building is full of 'em as well. Sign on the door..."Due to Bank Robbery, we will be Closed until Further Notice"

Well, fuckit, doncha think if they had been robbed they would have wanted my money to go in??? At least it would make up some of the loss wouldn'it...

Had to bloody go to another branch...bastards.

LOL. Come on Slofox, we all know this has nothing to do with money or robberies and your frustration only lies with not being able to see that hot teller chick

Have a bank about 100 metres down the road that has averaged like one robbery every 8 months. I don't even live in a bad neighbourhood!

Although now they've changed the door position and there's a security guard there all the time. Think they got the message after the third one (to memory).

Although I have to say if you're going to rob somewhere, why a bank?
It just strikes me as retarded. It's the most obvious place to rob because it's so stereotypical, but I can only assume that after several centuries of numbnuts pulling the same shit most banks would catch on.

Most/best security, fuck all money around the counters. It's not like there's one big easy to walk into vault with diamonds and shit at your local ASB/Westpac/whatever.

Rob somewhere that's not obvious. Like a restaurant...

If they were smart enough to catch onto that, they wouldn't need to rob banks to make decent money, would they?

Police are appealing for witnesses after a bank robbery in Hamilton East.

A man demanded money from a teller at the BNZ branch on Grey St just after 10 this morning.

A customer chased the man, but lost him when he turned down an alleyway near Sacred Heart school.

Police describe the robber as Maori or Polynesian between 180 to 185 centimetres tall and of medium build.

He was wearing a dark top and dark track-pants.

You musnt run that fast if you let the bastard get away

You missed a sales opportunity here slofox! You should have immediately rushed out and got some donuts, and then started selling them on a tray.

I did a few months stint in a bar the King George Hotel in the Valley - brissy, quite a colourful place, great nightlife.

Craziest thing I ever saw (apart from 2 inches of froth on beer) - was when they sold booze out of the liquor outlet, they had vertical bars, and perspecs down over the window, with a little gap to fit booze and money through.

One day a beggar came through to buy his usual bottle of cheap wine, and did a runner without paying for the wine!

Well the boss comes out - Easily 50 odd - hard as nails, seen it all before, yells "which way did that f*cker go!?" that way - we point.

Boss takes off, chases the guy down, gets his wine, smashes the bottle over the guys head in broad daylight at lunchtime, and walks back into the bar.
    Nobody bats an eyelid.

Just another day in the Valley

Yeah that's about the size of it. They think they're gonna be overnight millionaires - little do they realise there's maybe only a couple of grand readily accessible.

I remember hearing a story a while back of a guy that robbed his own bank. "What d'ya mean put your hands up Mr Smith"?
