    I agree with Trudes. There will have to be a person on the gate anyway and if you are going as per normal you are more likely to notice someone at the gate.

    no no, it was good thinking Nudeys, just don't think we need to change what we're used to when it can be easily controlled. We're all big kids, we can exercise a little patience while the fat controller makes us wait til the coast is clear. Let's face it, each bike should only need to reenter the track once during the race, so not a big deal.

    I'm thinking being a 2-hour race, there may be some entering the pits more than once, but if you're all confident that it can work how it is, then we'll just leave it at that then.

    Unsure, going to get hold of Peter Cartwright and see what we can borrow/hire.

    I just think that by having a gate person controlling track re-entry to the track it'll be safer in the long run than people re-entering willy nilly, so even by blocking the corner off you still have people entering the track so makes little difference. JMO

    Is it in the rules/ethics of the endurance race to have one person doing half of a race on two different bikes? We have two bikes and three riders. Can we do that?

    How would you work that? One rider rides one bike, jumps off second rider jumps on that bike and the first rider jumps onto another bike that someone else has just come in on? Is that right? Why not see if you can get one more team mate and do an hour each, two bikes.

    I'll be bringing out Wani as well so there is a spare bike there if your interested.

    I am teaming up with AJ from Weltec. Should make it a good race.

    I'll also talk to Phil at Weltec about borrowing their bucket as well.

    I do like the idea of 3 riders, two bikes. Can we include some sort of confidence course to be completed by the riders during the pit stop like;

    come into pits.
    dismount
    drink a coffee
    cigarette (either real or lolly)
    pay the extra ACC fees
    bribe an official
    another coffee
    bathroom stop
    Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.
