    Suzuki Gixxer 125?

    hmmm......

    From - http://hellforleathermagazine.com/20...cial-shot.html

"Like the Honda VFR1200, it looks like a low-res version of an official press shot for the Suzuki GSX-R125 has leaked long before its official unveiling. Rivaling other four-stroke 125s like the CBR125 and YZF-R125, the Suzuki more successfully mimics the styling of its larger family members. Sure, that large beam frame is likely pressed steel and not cast or extruded aluminum, but it looks the part; as do the multi-layered plastics and banana swingarm (curved on the right side). Like its competition, expect around 15bhp, 125kg (dry) and non-adjustable suspension . Damn, we wish we were 16 again.
    "

Tell me though, from the side-on shot, who else sees just an FXR-150 with different bodywork on it?

More or less... still looks very photoshopped in the second pic. First picture it almost looks like a CBR1000RR with the fairing design.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Yeah cos I'd rather have a 15hp 125 than an RD350 or similar old school bike that you could have ridden back then.

I love how manufacturers respond to legislation around the world that will eventually close their doors. Capitalism is such a brilliant system.

Wow, bikes have come a long way. My first Suzuki 125 (1971) weighed 96 kg and put out 15.1 HP.

Hehehehe, in 38 years we've gained 31kg and lost 0.1 HP. Damn I wish I was 18 again.

Shit! Yea I got fooled by that! I thought FXRs were purpose built Sports Tourers!

Well still I bought one. So I toured it on it to see if it's true. (They lied!)

I reckon if you take all of the fairings and tank off that, you pretty much have the FXR frame, susp and wheels.
