    Bishop Brian is perfect!

    It's all right here.

The thing that strucks me is that editing the article and replacing names with Hussain, Hitler or bin Laden wouldn't make it any more sinister.

This is the kind of action that taken place before people arm themselves and do a hell of a lot of damage.

Check this out... from the article
"At a special service during the church's annual conference in Auckland at the weekend, about 700 male members of the church swore a "covenant oath" of loyalty and obedience to Mr Tamaki and were given a "covenant ring" to wear on their right hands"

In the document comes a section entitled "Protocols towards our spiritual father", which takes 1300 words to describe in jaw-dropping detail how the "spiritual sons" shall behave towards their "spiritual father".

If any "son" is honoured either by the church or secularly, he is to mention his "mentors and role models" - Mr and Mrs Tamaki - "because Bishop is one of God's best-known representatives in our country".
Under "Conduct Towards Bishop", the "sons" are told that "Bishop is the tangible expression of God", so they need to understand how to properly approach their man of God "to protect the anointing and not transgress this special relationship".

    ... and it goes on!!!!!

Read it .. this is serious shit.

Yeah, spent a good half hour at lunch reading this (am I stll allowed a luch break by the way, or do I now trade it in for safety goggle vouchers..??). Anyway, a brilliant follow up article is on the NZ Herald website about how the Destiny Church is becoming a cult.

Well, their self proclaimed Bishop is taking us all for cults by having us believe that he is a spokesperson for God... this sounds awfully like Waco, eh...dont leave any matches or lighters lying around Bish Tamaki.

Bottom line is, he is now a source of great entertainment. I see home made Tui billboards popping up all over the joint, Monty Python may remake Life of Brian in his honour...

Let's not wate valuable time taking this dickhead seriously, insted, find new and amusing ways to rip the piss out of him and his 700 supporters...

On the terraces of Englis football clubs you would hear the chant "Bishop Brian's Black and White Army"

At least it makes it possible to compile a list of 700 gullible arsewipes - the telemarketers must be clapping their little greedy hands.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Under "Supporting Bishop's Function & Ministry", the "sons" are encouraged to find out Mr Tamaki's speaking itinerary and travel to other churches and engagements to support him, because a team of men around their bishop "reflects his importance to them".

They must never tolerate anyone (regardless of who they are) speaking or talking critically of Mr Tamaki and his wife/family or the church. "You are not only to stop them in their tracks but warn them that they criticise you when they criticise Bishop."

This sounds like the start of a private army.. God warriors, great.

Not that I am religious but this aint got anything to do with 'God' in the king james bible way but its about Brian pretending he is God.

If you opened your eyes you'd see that he is the one getting his cock sucked.

Forget your dignity, start a church and become a millionaire and have a congregation of plebs willing to pledge allegiance to you!

    This is pretty scary stuff.

Scary in that now Brian has formed his own Tamaki-Youth/SS who are being told to effectively suppress YOUR free speech: "You are not only to stop them in their tracks but warn them that they criticise you when they criticise Bishop." And then what? If you continue they've been told to stop you...

Yeah, his whole "religion" is a joke and he's an arsehole cult leader but 700 ex-con, holy warriors running around thinking Brian's laws are above the country's could cause some big problems.

For example, in time, this forum thread will turn up in google results when you google 'Brian Tamaki' (which I'm sure the cult monitor), someone from the cult will read this thread one day. If they think this whole biker community is talking smack about them then they might try and "approach" the website owner, or crash one of the calender events (Saturday's BRONZ/Ulysses event is smack dab in the middle of Tamaki country) etc etc

I say we take off and nuke 'em from orbit... It's the only way to be sure
