If you click on your link you will see that it is "Under Construction" with freeparking. He must realise that there might be some money in it... scooters that is...

hold on sunshine .. " buzzy little pricks" are HER words.... im a hoon on my bike.. never for a second doubt that .. NEVER in traffic, NEVER with a pillion and NEVER in a group.. you would be amazed at the number of complete muppets i see on the road all day (i drive a truck in the Auckland CBD ).. cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters, pushbikes and pedestrians.... scooters scare the willys out of me .. yea stereotyping i guess but lets look at the Atypical Scooter Rider .. under 25, not much cash for safety gear, late for class/ work, not much experience, 10 foot tall and bulletproof etc..

im sure there are awesome scooter riders out there, just like bikers and car drivers.. but when you put that stereotypical Scooter Commuter into heavy traffic on shit roads and yea .. Buzzy little Pricks..

Imagine the arguments then. Imagine walking into a bike dealer...... "Hmm Ill have a yam R1 thanks"...."auto or manual".........."Hmm do I want a scooter or real bike"
    Times a changing
Good to see someone has looked 5 minutes into the future but I'd say there won't be the option, look at the percentage of manual vs auto cars available now.. the stats (I believe) are about 10% to 90% I doubt manual motorcycles will even exist except for in museums 50 years from now.

As for the complaints about "buzzy little pricks" et al fact is most cagers say precisely the same things about bikers, especially when splitting on the m/way etc. "those crazy pricks are a menace" etc

Fact is two wheels, in a row, motor of some description in the middle driving (generally) the rear wheel... same shit different day. Stop bitching about the minor differences and using them as a reason for waving your tiny cock around on the internet.

As for the location on the forum... meh! who really cares? if it offends you, go somewhere else... yes it is convenient to have access to both "motorbike" and "scooter" info on the same forum so i will continue to frequent the place... in the real world... you know outside the cloud... most people don't give a flying f.... bikes and scooters are just a pain in the ass, thats the only place it matters...

I ride both, regularly so reckon I have the credentials to comment... but is guess im not racist or sexist particularly either so I may not be biggoted enough to comment.

Wasn't clear to me whose words they were.

This is the problem though: there's a 15 year old girl that rides past my house, on a 50cc vmoto, car licence, open face helmet and no gloves. And there are people that have never met me lumping me in with her and calling me SCUM, despite the fact that I'm 35, have a full motorcycle licence, 12 years riding experience, including long open road trips, the longest on a 135cc vespa to the Brass Monkey, by myself, spending 8 days travelling in the middle of winter. May not be much to you guys on 'big' bikes, but I really enjoyed it and it was a real challenge. I don't just commute to work day after day.

Those 'buzzy little pricks' aren't going to be signing up to kiwibiker in droves are they? Most are not interested in the riding community at all. But those of us who ARE here ARE interested.
