Nah that's about right for an SR20DET when driving spiritedly. That's not much power considering you were running 18psi? I've seen 6a13s make better power than that with less or similar boost, unless you mean it's power measured at the treads?

Got a nice list of mods and shiny bits I can drool over?

Rubbish. I had an S15 that at Manfeild trackdays, flogging the arse off it all day would still do over 200kays on a 60 litre tank.

I've known people with a few 13s, 14s and gtir's and they have never been too good when thrashed. Chances are they haven't replaced the O2 sensor, a Nissan part recommended for replacement every 40k [from memory] on most models, they can fuck the consumption. A mate at the moment has an S14 [with a 15 front, yum] and he was getting 400km a tank from normal cruising. I replaced the 02 sensor and on the open road it nearly gets 600k

Yeah, I'd definitly say it's a maintainence issue if they're overboard on the gas consumption.

Yep. But 16 liters per 100km isn't too high for a 2.0 turbo if you ask me [when raped] a cm5a lancer gsr is only a 1.8 and they struggle to average 10l/100km in my experience.

    Factory garrett T28?
That should move along quite well for a little beast, done a quarter in it? I would expect a very low or flat 14 if it's running nicely

My 2.0 Twin Turbo still manages a reasonably respectful 12-14l/100km when its being driven hard, driving responsibly it manages a slightly better 10-11, and down to almost 8 on motorway driving.... bloody thing is near full boost on the 1st turbo at motorway speeds!

Gready frontmount. Gready external wastegate. Gready show off valve. Garret turb. Link engine management system. a wheelie bar too

dont forget the 6 inch tacho

I dont know a hell of alot about GTIRs, but i know they were made for WRC. They didnt win, but that was put down to the dunlop tyres and the inefficiency of the top mount in hot weather. A couple issues fixed and i think it could of done well
    Thats whats up.

Great car though! The size boot in it was enormous. Mine could fit items that would never fit into anything else and you could sit in the engine bay with the engine.
    Although it was pretty gutless...

Factory t28 which is a lot bigger than the Silvia t28s. Nissan say it will do a 1/4 mile in 13.9 in standard trim, I've never put it on a drag strip though.
