been looking quite a few people already doing this here one company snich has rather large units available for a grand and 25bucks a month to moniter dont look like it would fit well on a dirt bike though blackhawk has units 1300??? not sure on price was year or to old and a bit under 90 a year to monitor not sure how big they are but there website says the can be used for motorbikes

seem to be lots of small and cheaper options available from overseas

    http://www.brickhousesecurity.com/co...ng-device.html
200 us for the tracker batt only lasts 5days though 240 us a year to monitor

theres one there that has a 120 day battery life fair bit bigger and more expensive though

don't seem to be able to find mini implantable chips except on conspiricy theory fruitcake sites

I know the snitch guys. I used to work with most of them.

Have a look for some GPS tracking gear of www.dealextreme.com About $200 NZD

wonder how well they would hold up off road? supose you could just pu titi in th eairbox when the bikes in the garage most only seem to have a 4-5 day battery life it is good that the come without the expensive monitering contract

They were stolen from lake cresent in Hamilton. very securely chained up in his basement, but with no one home it was a free for all. Poor guy was in hospital recovering from a heart attack and these pricks take his bike... loosers.

When mine was stolen 2 months ago, we found a guy riding it in frankton (railway station area) up and down the tracks. Said he bought it for 2g from a guy in Tauranga.

so please everyone make sure they are locked up big time, and insure them if you can!

    This should work

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.28710

    or

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11314

Bang it under your seat and run a cable from mains to charge it. It should have no trouble receiving under your seat. Then set up a button to trigger the SOS input once power is removed so if someone pulls it out (maybe mark it as battery so they think its a charger for a battery) it starts transmitting.

Or, just go buy $100 of chain and padlocks.....

Sounds like some one knew he was in the hospital, what a buggar - total wankers doing that! Sure hope he finds them, but that's the thing about dirt bikes, harder to track

so far after alot of digging, we think its related to a bunch of P-freaks in Te Awamutu, and have been riding them up and down the railway lines. Still hoping.
