That was funny enjoyed that, the things is though it doesn't have to be a bunch of bikers on Harleys, it can just as easily be a KB group ride, with riders dressed up in their 1 or 2 piece leathers, looking like something out of a Mad Max movie, on Jap bikes with aftermarket loud exhaust, tearing through the country side, going nowwhere fast just to stop in some small town pub, if that doesn't cry out attention I don't know what is.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
Nathan Woods R.I.P.
To be honest I have NEVER heard any Jap bike that sounds as loud as SOME Harleys. I don't mind the normal Harley sound, just the ridiculously load sound you sometimes hear - those are the only ones that make me think "gee, someone is trying SOOOO hard to draw attention to themselves".
OK Dave, I just spent 6:36 of my valuable life watching that clip. I have to say it can't compete with today's modern super-cartoons.
Where's the subtlety you mentioned? Oh, the frog won't sing when he wants it to, now bash me over the head for the next 5 minutes with the same joke.
Where's the poignant social analysis like the HD episode of SouthPark? The SP exposed the narcissism of some (most?) American HD riders. That travesty you linked to showed us never to mortgage the house to promote singing frogs.
Also, no swear words, orifice violation, gore, racism, sexism, *ism. How can it possibly be entertaining?
Edited for effect. Swear words are fun.
The singing frog makes me smile. It's funny for how much they milk from one gag and did you listen to the orchestra?
Here's another that's entirely about the music and the sounds - although the dance floor routine is a classic.
Ren & Stimpy set the bar for gross.
The rest are a pale imitation.
Simpsons for 'social' comment.
South Park is to Cartoons what Reality TV is to Entertainment.
