Didn't Jorje do that earlier in the year?

Haven't watched the race yet, but what a nana

looked pretty innocent though - he was hanging back at the start, so something cold have been a miss before that?

He always hangs back, he likes to be last on the grid.

Its easy for people to say...

You do have to push it a bit on a warm up lap otherwise your tyres and brakes get cold. I dont understand people who twiddle around on the warm up lap.
So its very easy to come off.

    Here's Filippo's comments on Casey's crash below.
He's referring to "this grid strategy" which I'm not sure what it is. Don't they heat up the tyres as much as the other guys or what is it?

    Filippo Preziosi :
"...We’ve been using this grid strategy for the past two season, but the only risk is that the tyres are colder than they should be for the “warm-up lap”. We obviously need to change this for the future and make sure there is enough temperature in the tyre. It is the first time it has happened in two years but once is already too much so we will look to improve on that. We have some ideas already and we will have something different in place for the first race of next season..."

I've done it, turn two @ Puke on an out lap due to a rooted rear tyre warmer and cold, unscrubbed slicks. It happens that fucken quick you don't even have a chance to react.

    Simple.
