I have permission so it seems highly likely that I will be going up from Palmy.

WOW, I'm offline for a few days and there are two bins and FNR rides to the Bay sounds like fun but costly. At this rate we should be able to get all bikes binned within 12 months. Glad that everyone is OK. The Kat will be out for a quiet pootle this Friday, looking forward to catching up with a few riders again.

It's not a requirement and certainly not to be encouraged. Had a chat with Sarge on Sunday and we both agree with Cowboyz sentiments that it is not something we want repeated.

The emphasis needs to be on having fun without endangering anyone and also keeping a look out for each other. This means that we all (me too) have to rein ourselves in a bit at times.

Al started a great event to finish the working week off and we do not want it marred my any sort of nasty incident. ACC are watching...

    I also concur.

I made the poor mistake of panicking in the gravel when I probably could have ridden through it without hassle.

I hope that I haven't put anyone off coming, I'll probably come out again tomorrow, I'm packing up and shifting house on the weekend so won't have much time for 2 wheeling..

this falling off business just has to stop!
...CDMTC track days really aren't all that far away... perhaps that could/should be the goal of those of us (me included) that like to blaze alittle too much. Cruise the FNR's and prep the bikes and ourselves for trying pin it at the Trackdays in Jan and April? Save the tires and the brakepads for those to events as they will kill them for sure anyway and those items aren't cheap!

Saves those riders who like to try to hug the rear of the faster bikes from finding they dont have as much talent, technology, or in my case, just plain luck when its finally needed. Bins are funny right up until something irreplaceable breaks or dies. I think some of us forget these aren't dirtbikes that you can usually get back on after a crash. These are weapons that can do some serious damage.

I know I forget from time to time.

Well said guys. Yep, it's supposed to be a nice cruisy ride to end the working week and it achieves that pretty well. Just keep it simple, ride your own ride, and ride to the conditions and your experience level. Afterall, the only way to get experience is to just do it. Accidents do happen of course and it ain't pretty when they do. Tends to ruin the day somewhat. So, just take it easy

And yep, Honda trackday at Manfield Sunday 22 Nov. Non members Pre reg $125.00. On the day $150.00. Don't have to be a member or ride a Honda. Arron Slight will be there to give some pointers
It's only Rock and Roll but I like it
