It that a universal truth for most women? I think I would be an exception, I definately do not judge a man by how much shit he owns, infact I find money a turn off. It shows that they are living far too comfortably and do not have "the struggle" which gives a man character. I would prefer a blue collar guy with a shitload of character over an audi-driving suit-wearing executive any day.
BUT, were suit wearers originally blue collars, everyone starts somewhere right? The thing is to beat the struggle and move up.
It's quite nice to see a bloke come through the ranks of strugglestreet and have earn't his way
Absolutely nothing wrong with living comfortably when you earn it.
I would argue a bloke that's earnt his way has brains and character, more than someone who hasn't!
Most blue collar guys don't want to stay that way forever, if they were blue collar at 20, and still are at 45, then they haven't taken opportunity, bad luck or bad attitude.
A bloke who's achieved goals and looking for more is hot!
And I'm not talking cash and assets -I'm talking character, smarts, balls and risks.

Yea I agree with that, I'm not knocking the hard-working white collar man, I just find it more attractive to see a man hard at work sheering a sheep, building a house, or putting out forest fires rather than sitting infront of a computer scripting Unix.
Mind you I'm 26 so I think a lot of that is hormone related and thinking with the lower half.(Or perhaps I have a farmer/builder/firemen fetish
)
Think of it this way,
blue collar = muscles from manual labour, humbleness, ruggedness, down to earth sense of humour, beer at the pub after a hard days work
white collar = metrosexuality, golf trips, lame office jokes, status anxiety, ladder climbing/brown nosing, wine at the bar lounge after a hard days typing
If you are that guy in your avatar picture![]()

edit; dam! my plan is foiled.
Prime age for women = If ones well-being is in balance, mental, emotional, physical, spiritual coming to a equal state of being. Age is not a matter, if a lady feels content and fulfilled with her current state of living and has exercised a wall of resilience against all sorts of things then she is in her prime.
Oh I absolutely agree, much prefer the stereotype of the bloke who can get his hands dirty![]()
Also appreciate the guy that makes a success of it because he uses iniative and becomes the manager, or with his savings buys his own (say) workshop, shearing shed..etc, rightfully enjoying his success.
Maybe we're reflecting our age differencesand our perception of a mans prime..

Prime for what ???????
hell at 17 years old I was .. self absorbed, self centered, totally selfish and clueless ..
in my 30's .. know myself a bit better, know what I want, know what type of people I want around me ..
I don't know if there is a "prime" Im loving getting older .. no way in hell Id go back to being 17 again .. can't wait to see what my norti 40ties have to offer!
In my 50's my bloody kids better have left home or Im buying a house bus and leaving them ..
depends on a couple of things (from my experience when I was a much younger man)
I rather shag a hot 40 year old than an ugly younger bird - and visa versa
depends on how desperate you get, as too how picky you get
looks and age run as deep as the amount alcohol consumed
Lifes Just one big ride - buckle up or hang on
