Good work y'all, I couldn't get time off to come down but I have nothing but respect for the organisers, riders and people who gave up their time and money so peeps like me can afford to keep biking.

    Mad props

I was impressed and proud that on One News last night they made mention of how well run and orderly the event was, with no incidents and none of the major disruption expected.
I think that demonstrates the amount of unity of purpose there was, and what a good job the organisers did.

    Well done, all!
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

We need all bikers, whether they ride a 50, 250, HD, Duc, etc. What's more scary for a politician- A few patched riders, or 6000+ riders who represent a large voting community? The prospect of Labour starting to gain a groundswell of support is what scares the Nats.

Bodyguards? I assume you mean DPS- as it has been said they are there regardless- Hikois, Civil Union Protests, Section 59 marches- you name it they are there.

Lets remember that we all sent a clear message yesterday, they key is now ensuring that those 6000 (and others) that turned up yesterday keep fighting the fight! The mighty GN is ready for more!

6,000 bikers, millions of collective km's, and not one bin is statistically infeasible, and a credit to the ethic of ALL participants. Well done.

I didn't expect there to be carnage, but the stage was well set for at least one pile up, particularly if the forecast bad weather arrived.

Congrats all, and MANY THANKS what you achieved for me and my family.

I agree with StoneY - on the whole it was incredibly positive and the vibe was awesome. Did see one guy throw a little wheelie down fairway (in front of the duck pond) haha. But yep, the patched bros were all awesome - friendly as.

I left a bit early to get back to work and the nice cop at the bottom of the ramp waved us through a red light - about 5 of us - all on Triumphs - Yay!! we screamed up the motorway northbound - good buzz.

    it is xp@
Was a great day I think ALL did really well. When it comes down to it on rides like this it is almost impossible to stay together.
Super grade A for organisation - managed to cause such an impact with so little problems or disruption! I am sure, if it comes down to it, the same fantastic level organisation will be able to apply itself to wotking with the other groups affected and causing a healthy level of disruption...

The non legends were the Highway 61 dickheads (and others of that ilk) that disregarded all the other legends and broke every road rule in the fucking book.

But the title of non legend of the whole day has to go to the immature fucking idiot on a green Kawasaki trailie Reg similar to ??WGS who did wheelies all the way along Mana Esplanade on our way down.

If you guys know this twat - wearing a camo-style MX helmet coloured brown/black, and a mid blue windbreaker at the time - tell him not to bother coming to any more rides and stay in the fucking mud where he deserves to be. This Einstein was undoing all our good work and undermining all our valuable support that we have from the non biking public.

Somebody find out this fuckwits name and shame him on this site - please
I was on the Bandit behind you for much of the way, the trail biker was a total retard.
Must have head butted too many tree branches.I've got his rego if any Bikoi officials wish to contact him.
