Slyer, I respect that you are being honest and I thankyou for that now I can see how you could mis interpret that opinion, If I may.

I am not expecting it to be a sport bike, but really what is it made for? Around town the revs were fairly heavy just cruising in over-drive (5th) and around suburban area. I found the commute to be quite un-comfortable revving it to get up and go from the lights to be able to keep up with average cars going the speed limit. It cost me so much, I out of my genuine intentions hope a Learner doesent experience the extreme rage it brings with costs and corrosion. I really do think the Gn is over rated I once thought it was the bees knees so I speak as a ex converted owner.

I don't think anyone here thinks the GN "is the Bee's knees" merely is not the complete pile of shit you make it out to be, in fact is a perfectly good learners bike (and it's just too easy to wind you up).
