heres a tip a cop mate of mine gave me....i have a really huge chain anchored to the floor ..he told me to slide some thick plastic tube over the whole chain so they cant get the jaws of the boltcutters over the links, also built a steel box to sit padlock in so they cant cut it ..so now they gotta have a really really big pair of bolt cutters or a angle grinder..which would make to much noise...and yes that chain is heavy and a pain in the arse to thread through the wheel.. but it kinda eases my mind a bit

Sorry to hear about your loss mate. Hope they catch the fuckers. So sad to hear that this is happening so often(just about once a week). Its got to stop somehow. Prevention is definitely better than a cure.

Feel ya pain John ! Not just the missing bike but also the fact the bastards were in ya home !
Condolences with the passing of yr aunt !
Go hunt them down my friend !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

We can sort it out for ya mate.

If you wanted to insure your YZF for 4k as an example...it'd cost you $180.00 a year

AMI insure my 200 for something like $80 a year, covered for transport on the trailer and theft & fire while in locked storage. I think most insurance companies offer something.

I voted for a change of government hoping for some instant action on sorting out crime but NO!

They are focussed on things like Auckland City, ACC, climate change crap etcetera, etcetera!

I don't think they (government) will ever fix crime in this country, which is a crime in it's self! :slap:

Sorry to hear of your loss's and wish you good luck in getting your stuff back and the apprehension of the thieves!

    the bastards

Sorry to here that John. I'm afraid once bitten twice shy!. Know the feeling - feel sorry for you. I will keep an eye out. Did they nick the buell as well?
Give me a shout if you want to go out. You can borrow the girls kdx in the shed, she's not using it she's too busy studying.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Yea AMI quoted me like $220 or something then asked where will you ride it... i said " what my dirt bike ?" she replied "yea" said " on dirt, sand or grass " her reply oh um....

then asked does it have a key start LOL! said no and she said well then we can't insurace it for theft then..... ahhhhhhh drrrr whats the point i said ? She said well its up to you haha.... " No thanks "

Tried Swann Insurance (IAG) got some bro speaking lady sounded her nose was blocked.... told her how much it was then came back said like $300 or something and its not a agreed value... just market value.. said i would think about it

I've got two cars with AMI too! Guess it comes down to who you speak to... because i have had one person there say one thing and another person say a different thing
