You should have used the kill switch to turn her off. Then to go again all you had to do was crash start her.
I'd contact Suzuki or a Suzuki dealer with the frame number, there may be a record somewhere (if the bike was NZ new) of the key numbers.
Failing that, take the whole lock barrel out and show it to a locksmith. See what they can do.

Alright guys and gals...need ya help! Went for a cruise out Miramar way to clear my head after work, just got back and fark me, somehow my key has fallen out of the ignition on my travels!
Stuck my car key in and managed to switch it off....and it would appear that it's staying there!
Any ideas? Is it possible to get a key cut or do I need to replace the whole barrel? i really have no idea where to start....God I wish I had a spare cut!
