I don't think anyone is actually complaining... except for maybe D 'cause he's going to missing it.

If I could think of a slightly cleaver, subtlety sarcastic and hopefully maybe slightly humorous answer to that I'd be posting here now.

Just a cheap, good old Garmin Etrex.
Does all I need and can take a bit of water and a bump or two.

Cannot make the Magpie on Saturday so may as well go for a ride on Sunday.

I tried to put the map and even tried to embed it.
And it would not come up properly.
And could not get a link to work.

Well bring the chocolate's Q and SDU will follow you on the ride and ride with us next time we go around the block.

At this rate it will be next weekend.
As I seem to be doing it every weekend lately.

Just noticed the Blackball is a probable lunch destination.
My gps software estimates just 557km from my place round and home again, so that includes the ride out to the Caltex Russley.
yeah, i thought the block was like 1000kms?

lol, that's a bigger block, but still a block. Usually get to see Haast or Nelson in the 1000km runs.

IIRC the last big block ride miSTa set up was a 1000km one.
I prefer my 1000km days to be Saturdays or days when I don't have work the next day.
600km runs are ok with work the next day though.

Our (myself, GhostBullet, BikeMike) Big Block ride last year according to my odometer was 1377km. Will probably do it again this year.
