I don't think anyone is actually complaining... except for maybe D 'cause he's going to missing it.

Just noticed the Blackball is a probable lunch destination.
My gps software estimates just 557km from my place round and home again, so that includes the ride out to the Caltex Russley.

lol, that's a bigger block, but still a block. Usually get to see Haast or Nelson in the 1000km runs.

IIRC the last big block ride miSTa set up was a 1000km one.
I prefer my 1000km days to be Saturdays or days when I don't have work the next day.
600km runs are ok with work the next day though.

Bring it in. Leave it for the afternoon. pick it up all fixed. Go riding on sunday.

Our (myself, GhostBullet, BikeMike) Big Block ride last year according to my odometer was 1377km. Will probably do it again this year.
