What GN have you been riding? Must've been seriously stuffed! 2nd does 50 no probs, 60-70 even, 3rd gets me almost to 100 and 4th is good for 110, and then 5th is overdrive for cruising/saving fuel.
And it still gets to 80ish faster than most cars!
Besides, if its all about who has the biggest, fastest everything then i just take my car![]()
Sorry to dissapoint you but "most cars" can beat the gn250.
Bikes like a cbr250 can beat a fair amount of "average cars".
Remember when you say "most cars" on the road these could include subaru wrx, skyline's, cefiro's, holdens, fords, all sorts of cars with grunt.
A bike Like a 1 litre gsxr I can safely say can beat 95% of most cars.
On the motorway alot of cars cruise at 120kph then when they see a speed camera they slow down then repeat. A gn250 cant cruise at 120 my mums nissan paraire joy station wagon can.
Please sell your car and buy a inline 4 250, they are cheap (some around 3 g), farily reliable, can pass cars on open road with ease, motorway isnt hard on them. Look up some zxr's on trademe.
Haha, my car ticks all those boxes anyway... and why bother with another 250?? And my GN can cruise at 120, but everyone here only cruises at 110 anyway... i dont get overtaken on my way into town.. and like i said, thats to 80kph im talking... cos i know its got no top end
Why bother with a GN250? A proper 250 will get you prepped up for a 600.
Bullshit everyone knows, yes even a Gn250 owner, that Gn's top out at 110kph. It may look like 125kph topped out on yours but the real speed is around 110. You must seriously be a n00b If you think a gn250 can cruise at 120, let me guess in your line of thought your GN can do 180kph?![]()
