What's the media coverage of the ACC protest in the local papers here,in Napier nothing, except for a letter to editor(by local organisor),nothing at all, except a friggin two page on the guys doing ride for violence, and toy run.Nothing about how ACC will start shafting bikers, then everyone else, stands to reason, get the books looking really great then hock the company off,and anyone notice the Insurance at end of their letterheads, and phone messages.

Also might go and see if I can get served about a new bike, litterally,or a nice second hand one.The guys in our favorite shop could learn shitloads from 5 Star in Napier, thought wof expired on 17th,but looking on Sunday night showed 14th whoops.Off to work Monday, drop bike into 5 Star and say wof please, said if done by lunchtime I'll pick up then incase I get back later, get call to say all done,$35.00 later and they even realigned headlight as was way off beam for free.Service manager friendly, and ideal PR for his firm, typicall Suzuki guy methinks.Even parts guys speak upon entering, acknowledge customer, bloody good, cause no customers = broke company(and jobs lost, though maybe the guys here don't want a job, bloody hard living on $200 week).

Close call this afternoon. Parked up, kicked out stand and stepped off. Bike leant onto stand, then leant over some more, and then some more fcuk!!!! The blardy stand hasn't over centered. Very lucky she didn't kiss the tarmac.

done that, when parked in the shed, fell over onto the roller door. Shed only has one door, fuck! broke bit of the rear plastics pulling up the roller door

When I first started riding on my GSX250, I was about to leave work , put bike out of shed, thought I'd put stand down, but no, as I let it go and turned around to shut door, it fell over off stand in slow motion, but I was too slow to catch it, bugger, bugger , bugger. Hurts your pride more than anything.

Aparently there is a red Buell like mine that was at anza, and a black one that was in Wellington motorcycles and aparently BOTH of them were left idleing on their side stands and they BOTH took a walk and bit the dust, so you can now guess I'm extra vigilant.

On a side issue, Sparkles came round late this afternoon to see the carnage as I have his bike in my shed so good to see you're o.k. Sparkie!!

I caught mine, just. And tweaked my back in the process. Manfield tomorrow might be shorter than planned if it doesn't come right overnight
