I am confident in my own abilities in regards to smooth consistent riding, which is enough in my opinion. Iff you appear confident, and no-one knows its an act then that works too.

I also dont find myself being tailgated whilst on the bike, but nor do i find people hanging back unnecessarily. I know i get tailgated all the time in the car, but that comes with having a "boy-racer" car.
No huffr just because you drive a "boy racer" car isnt an exception for people tailgating you. You mentioned you had qualifications in CARS, fixing them up would also require you drive the CARS. Its farily obvious you are a good car driver and therefore enjoy cars more than bikes. Putting less effort to improve on your motorcycle, and less recognition to how you actually ride all due to a simple loss of interest. Car drivers can tell the difference between a big bike and a small bike, bottom line.

Are you asking for a "dance" dance?.... No can't be, you don't ride a GN or a Scorpio

So the amount of times I got asked whether my 250 was a 600 or 1000 can't be part of these statistics you're using?

Another point you make, that drivers generally give bikes a wide berth, what bullshit. You reiterate that if they have an L-plate the drivers back off even more, what bullshit.

Haven't you seen the amount of threads on here bitching on about being tailgated especially with an L-plate on.

It's funny how your entire argument is meant to be backing the idea that a GN is a bad LEARNERS bike... But... It's not.

It's even funnier that you talk about how many things go wrong with Gns... When it's your Zeal that's in at the mechanics.

The IL4s that you suggest for everyone can often be much more unreliable than a GN.

oh FFS when will this thread die.

All you guys mistake me from what may appear as my internet persona, it just clouds your judgement of me. Im not a "Dancing Queen" or the new Skidmark or a tough guy. Get the chance to know me better and you will see im a caring, down to earth guy.

They aren't statistics, they are generalisations.

If some one's bitching about something its not valid, its bitching.

Your bikes haven't ever gone to the mechanics? I'm sure most bikes go to the mechanics or is that only in my world? lol

rob, not to mention almost having a head on with a campervan while trying to keep up with other riders... thats a real NOOB move. everyone knows that you ride your own ride and dont go killing yourself trying to keep up.

Well why don't you attempt to portray a different "persona" across the internet for us to see?
