Thanks guys - yeah I'm ok just very sore head and left hip and knee and generally torn muscles and bones from the clang.

Gutted - not only was it so early in the race but my bitchy team mate couldn't continue without me...sorry.

As for Rangi should've cooked me some fucking eggs!

Big thanks to Trudes and Dave (not sure your name but you very nice and now have Pamela) for taking care of me while the ambos came and helping me get the leathers off - there was no way I wanted to sacrifice those any more than I already had by tearing them up in the off.

BTW - even though I didn't want the ambo to come the nitrous made it all worthwhile That stuff was no good in childbirth but I can recommend it with head injury and banged up bod.

    Just like to say:-

Firstly, pleased to hear Number One isn't too banged up and will recover nicely - good news !!

Secondly, thanks to everyone who attended yesterday and made it the awesome day it was. Even though I wasn't racing I had a ball watching everyone enjoying themselves.
The backwards-running Lemans start was an absolute hoot !!!

Also, thanks to the people (Skunk, Fishie etc) that helped me run the event and make it the success it was. There were some pretty tired looking people after that 120 mins.

And...thanks to the people that travelled a distance to attend, namely the Christchurch and Palmy North guys. Hope you had a blast

    Cheers all

As others have said, cheers to everyone that made yesterday happen!!! Was such a great day! Racing wise and weather wise.

I had to laugh when every one was up on the deck at the end of the day, it was like a bad zombie movie with the walking dead all around. Haven't seen so people limping around since...actually, I don't think i ever have!! A true reflection of hard people went out there. Was awesome having turns in the enduro and getting to watch a whole lot of different racers together.

And as for my day... I had a great day racing. Esp since I had a whole new rear end on the Tape Worm. The last set up had the rear sitting 15mm off centre and tracking to the right, Which I'm putting 50% of my crashes down to. So I met one of my goals, and had a full day without crashing!!! Sounds stupid, but it was almost becoming a problem.

And a big thanks to my partner in crime Bert, who helped put my front brake pad back in after it fell out on the dummy grid at one of our transitions Hence why we only ended up doing 61 laps! But 61 fun laps!!

And glad to hear #1 is ok. Was a bit worried for a bit. But she has a very nice dry reaching action, and the sound is just as good
Gingas get life...Why don't murderers and rapists?!

Much thanks to Chris and Andrew for such a cool event. Thanks for the trophies. Amy was still finding it funny this morning that I got first for grade B and worst engineered bucket.

Thanks to AJ for teaming up with me. Sorry about the gear changer problems but we got there.

Im stoked my 50 lasted the day without mishap.

I'm pretty much a write off today with my right knee, back, neck head, both shoulders and right arm competing to be the sorest.

It was the third crash that did me in I think.

Apologies to who ever it was I collected when i came off coming into the home straight. First time I've seen a bucket rider sandwich so close up before.

My bike is well a truly in need of a new front tyre.

My daughters had blast riding the dirt bike there, but are gagging to get on the track so hopefully two more bucketeers in the near future.

It was great day, hopefully my body has recovered enough by TRRS.
Yes 4 strokes are for homos. Homo-sapiens that is, who have realized bigger is better.

I rode a whole season on that fucked up thing, so HTFU!! Just kidding!
Good on you, I'm glad you had a good day with no crashing (especially passing me without feeling the need to harass my exhaust again ) Thanks for helping me with Ms Dry Retch 2009 too!

I have to say a big thanks to Bert also for offering to help me fix up Rangi enough to get back out and finish, by then however I had already resigned myself to the fact my day was done, once my boots come off I'm done. Thanks though

Yep had a blast out there. Thanks to Andrew for lending me his spare rear wheel after mine ate a bearing. Would have missed the hole enduro.

    Cheers Mate

Also thanks to everyone that has helped out over the year with advice on riding and my engine tuning problems. Fish you win with the (might be a manifold leak). it was a manifold leak. Glen for showing us how fast you are supposed to go. And everyone for tuning up and racing. Chris great job on getting us the track. It's a great venue long may we ride there. Well done.
