It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Have you ever ridden with Thani Katman?

I have ridden many many hours with her and she is a better rider then most of the young people I've seen.
She has graduated from the GN250 which was a good learner bike and has stepped up to a bike with reasonable torque and light weight rather than say an R6 etc: bloody good choice.

The long term outcome is impossible to see for her and also for you. You're the one blowing smoke

Treating public roads as somewhere to 'play with toys' (and the resulting carnage) is exactly why we now find ourselves in the shit with ACC.

I could play on my playstation in the tv room, or I could play on it in the bath... Just like I can play on my bike in a safe and legal fashion or I can play on it dangerously, it ain't the object it's the user.

Just went into the local motorcycle shop in town here to look at some rear pads to help stop me and there she was... Beautifully sitting there, Steering at me. A bike. Exactly like yours Thani.. Except in blue. I was quite happily admiring it for 5 minutes until i remembered what i went in there for

I think people are getting wrong idea when a bike is referred to as a toy.

My bike is a toy a big boys toy I do not treat it as a toy or take riding as joke
To me a toy for adults is something that you get enjoyment out of admire and love to bits.

It does not mean we treat it like a toy in the sense of not viewing it as a vehicle which could kill us.

    Does that make any sense?

My wife classes anything I buy that I don't really need as a toy.

Toy is something you may not need but you want.

you would have been a puritan a few hundred years ago: bikes are more than just transport, they are fun FUN FUN!

the real reason we are in the shit with ACC is because National wants to sell it to the Aussies; there's nothing wrong with ACC and people like you using bullshit arguments incorporating ACC messages and deflecting from the real issues are the real problem.

I'd be willing to lay a bet that you are a case of "do what i say not what i did"

you're arguments are shallow and badly supported, in fact they are largely nothing but scare mongering bollocks

And we all know the all-to-frequent outcome when groups of bikes head off for a bit of Coro GP 'fun'.

You should know better than most. (Cast your mind back).
