Carver, has someone torched your bike?

OR are you considering doing it to someone elses bike and by this thread, attempting a realistic risk management assessment?

    just ..ahem...hypothetically
You get what you pay for.
Read into that what you will.

or - take out a PR war against them. Name and shame.
Get a photo of them and draw up a poster with something along the lines of:

"Public Service Announcement - on X day of X month, X person commited the crime of arson. He/she burned and destroyed X motorcycle for reason X. X Person justified their action as a reaction to X Y & Z events.

This author of this poster is also the owner of the destoryed motorcylce and has placed a number of these posters all over 'X city / X town' so that the residents can know and beware the nature and manners of X person and treat them in a manner fitting an arsonist and criminal"

And put up a few hundred of them where he lives. Legal and more deadly than violence, unless he's a patched mob member in which case - good fucking luck.

I had a friend who got knocked off his bike, with only 3rd party insurance. They guy who hit him wouldn't pay. The fastest method to get his money was to find the guy on facebook (created a fake account of a hot woman) and add him, write down the names of all his friends and then look them up in the phone book.

He then sent a physical letter explaining the actions and attitude of the car driver to all the drivers friends, relatives, coworkers, etc... just so they could know what kind of a person he really was.

The guy paid out less than a week after the letters started arriving.

If he torches someones bike he better hope they're too smart to do something dumb.

Seeing someone in jail doesn't give you back the use of your legs.

    It's a 50/50 situation really....

If the owner is fine with it then go for it as long as ya don't stand too close...I don't think you would look good with no eyebrows....

It becomes a problem when the fire engine turns up...

so if it was a gift for the owner, and that same night, someone decided to burn it, for no real reason, is it still a 50/50 situation?
