Singing in the rain (or anywhere else)

Am I the only buggar that starts singing a song to myself while riding and can,t get pass the first few lines or chorus? Went from Te Kuiti to Taumarunui and the same lines from one song kept going over and over in my head. Dammed if I could think of the rest of the words.

Maybe I need one of those Ipod thingies. Trouble is, ear plugs dont stay in, also, do they add to the wind noise or does the music cut out the wind?

I have a terrible memory - and have the same issue. Can never remember all the words of a song.

I've tried to avoid using a portable music device so far. I have a concern about masking what I can hear with music while riding (although I tend ot mainly ride in commuter traffic rather than long cruises).

Nah, you'll find that most of us do it! I reckon I'm the best singer though.
I have never bothered with an I pod, rather hear whats going on.
Capital Cruise and TT2000 2012. Looking forward to my two big rides!

Yo!...been doing that for 55 years, the urge to sing while riding never goes away!

When I am stamping things along a bit, the song that seems to come to mind is:

I was riding down the road doing 90 miles an hour, when the chain on my bicycle broke!

Don't know what the name of the song is or even the rest of the words but it does just kinda pop into my head and won't go away!

Funny thing is I never take any notice of it though!
