    hahah see now that's support.

Well I'm out of the hospital (got out wednesday). Was gonna go for a ride on sunday then remembered I didn't have a helmet...or bike...and can't lift my right leg to walk up stairs let alone swing over a bike

but it's better being at home where i can watch bike dvds that jamroll lent. Bloody good actually.

Still waiting on scan for the arm which I'll need to get before thursday otherwise if it need surgery, they'll have to break it again.

But hopefully the bike will get sorted shortly, and i can get back on it as soon as i can walk without two crutches (give me 2 weeks )

Shall I put it up on the Calender as an Event for 30 December?
The main concern I have on the Coramandel at that time of year is the number of Cages on the road.

Personally think that a coro loop between Christmas & new year is not great time. LOTS of traffic , LOTS of cops, LOTS of idiots & sticky runny tar. February would be the go I reckon, esp for a group ride on the loop.
If you don't know where you are going , any road will get you there ............

Yip. seriously we did talk about this and was saying her's would probably be better to get on and off to start with (lower). I think riding her bike will get me back on a bike sooner than waiting to jump on the Daytona due to position.

3 mths! It's kinda a big thing but they've been surprised at how much I'm walking etc so I'm picking I'll be sorted sooner than that. What's slowing me down is the cramp in my leg ang the sore back. If it wasn't for them I'd actually be walking without the sticks now.

I'd be keen for coro in Feb as long as it's before mini-me is due. I think that would be the icing on the cake for Brooke if I missed the birth of our 1st

I am heavely committed with Ulysses in Feburary and March.
I have suggested 30 December on the basis that it is a working day, not New Years Eve and most of the Holiday makers will have reached their destination.
We did a Coro Loop on Easter Sunday last year and traffic wasn't too bad.

Will discuss further at the pub meeting on Wednesday.
The alternitive would be to head South or East on 30 December

26th & 27th is a write off for coro, so is 30th and 31st seriously i wouldn't even bother, it wont be fun!

28th and 29th however are normally ok but better still would be on the 20th of december, the madness starts after xmas.

Conversely if you leave at 7am on any busy day you will miss allot of the traffic until the ride home and if you hit whanga's or coromandel at about 11 then you will be through the chaos and heaving away from where everyone wants to be
