Thought it might interest some here....

Went out for a play at 'Udrive' with a workmate on sat arvo, he's taken a super kart (ie racing kart) and stuffed a 2001 R1 engine on the back of it. this things foooken crazy fun and a little scary to drive. Certainly sorts the men from the boys


he's still got a few things here and there to sort out to make it a bit more user friendly ie improve throttle mechanism but he'll get there, gotta expect a few teething problems

i managed to break the throttle cable (easy fix on the spot) but no so easy to fix was the rear tire that gave up on me mid drift with a huge bang

we were doing roughly 12 sec laps and the record fastest time is 10.8 or something, not bad for first time out there!

Better get there early to get a pit area , team Froggy there in force

Hope to have the LC engine running tomorro night , I will see how it goes , maybe be more of a shake down run before taupo 27th and 28th
