and the bastard said he had reached an agreement with the ullysses club, which they were completely unaware of!

If the media were impartial and checked facts etc, this shit would be over well quick. Anyone have any contacts in local papers etc? we just need to get all this info out there so people can see nick's myths for the gigantica steaming pile of bs that they are

Interesting that they are coming through with that angle, as it is a new approach from ACC.
    What a croc.
What difference does it make what you ride/drive? If you have a crash and break your back, your going to cost a lot any way, but then, thats why we pay the current levies.
That piece from the ACC was a diversion for the cagers out there.
WHere does it go from here?

if we can get that many bikers on a protest ride, wouldnt it be great if we could get all motor cyclists to refuse to register thier bikes
The government thinks we are all gonna bend over while they shaft us. I think they are going to get more of a fight than they thought

Nah it's the same approach they used when they printed full page anti-biker propaganda ads in the dailys calling for submissions on the proposal

when you put a rego on hold, it dosnt start being on hold until the current rego has expired.

rego on hold is all good for us, but if it gets that far it means the no fault ACC is fucked, which is crap as the idea of no fault compensation is a good one

Not paying your rego is just going to result in alot of easy money for police, in fact the gov will probably assign a new task force just for collecting rego money, because it will be like shooting fish in a barrel if we all "made this stand".

Aside from a national revolution, I think the only way forward is what has already been put in place.. Protest, lobby, sending poos in the mail etc.

Id like to think your right but i very much doubt this sort of action will work
We all stand by while the government keep putting all sorts of tax up. It wasnt that long ago they implemented GST, promised us that prices would go down by the GST amount so wouldnt affect the public much. What a crock of shit that was, now they are talking about lifting it up to 15%. Anyone that owns a home has to now pay regonal rates, another new tax introduced about three or so years ago. Where the fuck will it end
I dont mind paying my way but only when its fair. Government dont know the meaning of the word. And then they say the average wage is $80,000 pa Id love to be on that much but the dam goverment makes more money from my business than i do
