    Bring the rainsuit

Just had a look at the Metvuw site (just to get the discussion back to our rally!!!) - looks like we'd better bring our heavy duty wets and there bloody well better be enough cabins and beds!!!

ohhhh... you people that look up weather weeks ahead of a rally amuse me (happens every time) why bother freaking out and worring others, they hardley ever get right, it changes 5 times a day and its a week away... hell canty weather is never right, having said that on the coast its not hard to guess what it will be doing, so simpley be prepaired.
    cheers DD

they are right only 40% of the time... so if you the swap what they say to be the opposite then they could be right 60% of the time.

ps: unit is old and cannot take a mp3 thing etc, a i pod with radio gizmo should work, other than that bring CD's.

Ok folks, trip planning is comming along nicely, leave has been approved, (both home and work) so it looks like I will be accompaning my two bro's to the West Coast. Also needed an excuse to up grade my wet weather riding gear. Looking forward to some fine southern hospitality, see you all there.

Todays update looks like we will ride up on Friday in the dry with maybe a few showers for the last bit and that heavy shit coming in over night - provided we get away early enough This has been mentioned in dispatches to the co pilot
This far out the forecast is a bit dodgy but its good to have some idea of what to expect.
Looks good for the sat lunch ride and a trip home down the Coast
