I consider circumcision to be male genital mutiliation.

I don't care if adults do it to themselves, but it seems grossly unfair to permanently desensitise the penis of an infant or child (who cannot consent).

We wanted our son done - but he was jaundiced when born and they wouldn't do it. However, like your grandson, my son was 5 when he needed to be circumcised. Not a nice thing for a young kid to go through, but necessary.

I agree, it makes it worthwhile having it done as a baby, they are less aware of the pain that he did need to go through.

There was an English tv show when girls went to live in an African village and the girls felt sorry for her and pitied her because she had not had it done.

1 - It's cleaner (although Im sure most young kids dont mind giving it a spit and polish)

2 - It looks better

3 - Whenever someone calls you a complete cock - you can actually prove you arnt.

As for talking to the 'other side' I was raised in a family that attended Church regular, and by age 12 I could see through the bullshit and was the first in the family to stop going...Mum n Dad fully supported my choices too

I have plenty of mates that 'believe' and are also gifted with the ability to accept others for not being of the same belief's, and we talk over these issues a lot! Ones even a Church pastor, and another is on these forums, no one would ever guess who he is (and I aint saying)

MOST modern 'post infant circumcisions' are purely because no one taught the kid to keep his dick clean and wipe the cheese off...thats fuckin sad
