    Suzuki engine builders (Upper NI)?

Who are some good engine builders in the upper North island, with good knowledge of suzuki engines, just want motor to have a good check over, a freshen up and some yoshi parts inserted.

I know of Ray Clee & Chris Osbourne. What others are around?

Warren is good I hear, I remember Mr Odermat singing his praises.

What's your aversion to letting Chris or Ray near it Cajun? Or are they just too busy this time of year.

Won't be for a another couple of months before anything is done anyway, so not huge hurry.

Hard to go past the two you've mentioned. Chris was more than reasonable giving my CBR1000RR a top end service and dyno, while the bike I've just picked up off Ray is a fantastic advertisement in itself. I'd happily send work to either of them and I'd sleep easy knowing it had been done right.

Yes another vote for Chris, he is an exceptional mechanic. Always willing to answer any questions and goes the extra mile. You may however be in a bit of a queue if you want work done by either Chris or Ray before the end of March (NZ Championships). After then you may be in a better position to get some work done!

Brian Bernard. While he's not in the upper North Island (wanganui) he's one of the best.
When his team two years ago took delivery of three new R1 Yamaha's he stirpped and prepped two of the motors to superbike specs. At manfield both bikes shit the gearboxes. Brian naturally thought he had made a mistake, as most people would in that position till they took a stock bike out that had not been touched and it did the same.
Right on race week he burned the midnight oil and sorted it out, a Yamaha factory design fault, which went back to Yamaha Japan...
He's spent years on suzukis, his hayabusa was quicker then the Suzuki nz prepped bike, and not a cheater etc
He's looking for work now too what with him no actively involved in the race season.
