84kph in a 50 zone just entering the LSZ at the north end of Oamaru (in a car though). Cop heading north spun around pulled me over. Noticing it was a female cop, I got out and met her between the cars where I turned on the charm and apart from that was respectful to her and honest about why I hadn't slowed down quickly enough. (No, I really don't think it was my charm that did it). Got off with a recommendation about my attention while driving.

Ive had a recent bit of fantastic luck. Totally non PC for the atgatt team mind you.
A few months back we had just finished a gsxr600 track bike. The battery was flat so i just bump started it down the driveway. This was all good. Bike startedon two so i just kept going out the gate and up the dead end road across from us. It roars into full life so I rip up the road and back towards the yard.
Unfortunately oneof the local lads was just coming up the road when I did it.
    On go the discos
No licence on me,no rego,no wof,no helmet and possibly speeding.
    Eeeep
Luckilly they knew me and did nothing

    Anybody can better that ???
I recently got a 142 ticket, but cop didnt enforce the 28 days as he had no 'proper' forms, he met me 16 days later to enforce the remiander of my 'suspension period'

In '86 a TO from MOT let me off 190kmh on my RD350....he thought it was a 250 and was stunned it went so well, I let him keep thinking it was a 250, seemed to work
Conditional of the release, if he EVER caught me in his area speeding again he would do me for the 190......and that was a gentelmans agreement
    Just ride.

Had a mark3 cortina with a 300 hp mustang motor in it. Speedo went to 180k but you could wind it past that until the speedo needle hit its stop.
Years back coming from Coromandel went past one of the old Black 'n White Mitsi V3000's on the side of the road.
Poor old plod musta fair shit himself, kept foot up it for another 20 km and backed off, never heard Jack Shit.

Another time same car, was having some fun on newly re graveled road, going from lock to lock, when the lights come on. I had sprayed his car with stones from end to end, it was a 6 foot maori bloke who was pissed. At least he had a sense of humour as he came up to the car and I wound the window down, he said "Rod fuckin Millen is it'. He gave it too me and told me if he saw me ever do that again he would "knock me the fuck out". Hard case cop, then he told me to piss off before he arrested me.

Laying down on the tank on the way home from work (Talisman Taven), 2am.
Flat tack on the RG, didn't see any flashes until the little 150 was doing over 200 on the speedo.
Was local Snr Serge - he knows me, ask me what I was doing wrong.
    Told him I was speeding.
He told me he would kick my arse if he had to peel me off the road, and he knew where I lived (1km down the road).

I miss that road in the middle of the night.
I miss being young and reckless.

Many many years ago now...approaching Christchurch from Kaiapoi, well over the limit. Come to a humpback railway overbridge and there's a copper waiting on the other side of the road, facing the way I am coming from. See him start to pull out and U-turn as I go over the bridge. Get over the bridge, slam on the brakes at the bottom and do a 180 degree leftie and duck into a wee road that led back almost under the bridge. Stop dead. See the copper go zooming over the bridge and disappear up the road. Took alternative route home from there...

Back in the late 80's on my VFR750 heading home in Nelson along Atawhai doing my usual get home fast at 2am

Saw a car in the distance, didn't think to much about it.
Speedo reading over 200 when I realised that the back of the car in front of me was a highway cop.
Passed the cop with the brakes on full, desperately trying to slow down.

Thinking I was a gonner I just kept the brakes on and pulled over to the side of the road.
Turns out he didn't have is radar on, he saw me coming in the distance. Reached down to turn the radar on when I went flying past with the brakes on.

Avoided a few US$1000 fines and "We will confiscate your vehicle right now!" whilst driving a truck through Nigeria a couple of years ago.... mostly for crimes such as "having your steering wheel on the wrong side" and being white in Africa..

Mostly talked our way out of them... occasionally gave away a can of coke as a bribe

Amazing what a can of coke can buy you in Afwica
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.

Certainly is a crime... in West Africa anyway..... we only reluctantly gave away cans of coke.... our standard position on bribe attempts was "Fuck off"... probably got away paying nothign at all about 95% of the time, just have to be willing to stand there and argue all day until they get bored

I was thinking of blow jobs. But you're probably right..
