Thats a good compramise i think.... so "I VOTE FOR THAT". Ride to Lil River, stop for those that want a coffee and cake, and carry on to Aka for those that would like to go further. Maybe a NO STOP uturn at Aka to go back to Lil River to meet up with the "coffee crowd" for the return back to town? It would mean a 40 - 60 min wait for us to return from AKA but thats about the normal "coffee club" stop anyway....

Ummm who said the bit from Dev to aka was not that interesting? (wo)man... thats one of the best bits, open and flowing, good vision thru the corners as well. It may be a little open for the smaller bikes but it is awsome on the bigger ones... even 2 up its only another 10 mins on the bike each way.
Still think its boring.... but hey each to there own!

Couple weeks ago on a wednesday, Rg and me did a reverse round the bays and ended up in ferrymead. $13 mains at little india was our pick, but speights ale house and few other choices there as well. Bit different, lil river seems bit dull for end of year WNR

Wasn't meant to sound boring..... just taking into account that the groups are getting large and there are some learners amongst the group who can't/won't go as far as Akaroa.
I won't risk doing the hills until my foot has a chance to heal a bit better.
Anyway I'll sit back and watch and see if a decision can be made and then just turn up if I can.........

I also have a spare seat if anybody needs a ride.

I don't mind where we go as long as there is time for a beer and a chat.

Akaroa on the mighty FXR. Sounds like a go (Just dont tell Sexy Lexy).

Got the day off so no excuses this time, unless my parents decide to throw me and my bro a birday dinner.
