We should get a few things straight...

1] The site is in South Otago.

2] We had to 'pencil' the booking in 2 years ago.

3] Our sandflies have twin engines.

4] The venue is the Tautuku Outdoor Education Centre, owned and operated by the Otago Youth Adventure Trust.

Oh my, i still have not gotton around to posting pictures and the like, with over 300 I have whittled them down to around 170, but is that still to many??

It was a fab weekend that no doubt will be remebered for along time to come as all the previous rallys.
Since the second rally I gave bought along chicken kababs to share, since last year SteveW also added to that, and it appears all the food goes down well, and most likely much need to absorb the liquid intake.
All the stuff I bring I have to buy, but never ever expect to be compensated for. Jantar came up to me at the BBQ this year and asked about it, I told hime, not to worry, he said we would be seen right. (some people just dont listen)
BUT I was humbled when a hand full of gathered monies was presented to me. At that moment I thought, I cant take this, as I stuffed it in my pocket!!!!

My son a few years ago become very sick with hemolytic uremic syndrome, which put him in Starship for near a month. Pictures below of that time

Hence I have put that money given for food as a donation to kidney kids, which was near $50.00. I have noted in the submission that the money was gathered at a kiwibiker rally weekend.

So thank you people. And there will be more of the same next year, ya gotta keep ya belly topped up.

kidney kids is a great organisation. But one not a lot of people know about. they work quietly to raise money. They have a great kids Christmas party and fund raising events through the year. Most of the kids go on to have ongoing renal problems into adult hood. So I am going to put in a plug for these patients. Please consider becoming a donor on your licence. I have seen what a difference a transplant can make in the quality of someone's life.

On a different note. I hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year.

And FWIW I loved the shit hole, crickey no need to watch out for spills on the carpet, a new stain just matched the old stains... was a bit concerned eating off the kitchen floor especially as I was sharing it with a chicken and weka... tell ya what ya live a whole lot longer living like that than stressed out in town.

Now, this Roger fella... I must of missed him as I reckon I was 1st to arse up ('cept HOT on the DR) and bail out for the night, that will learn me for starting drinking so early.
