As regards you intentions, Raj, they're not really the issue.

The offer was to total track-newbies. The offer didn't include another person third-partying to another newbie.

Jesus H. Christ. All I did was offer a free track-day to a total newbie and found myself besieged with PMs from sundry parties.

I definitely have never done a track day anywhere. That said I concede defeat to Hiflyer. C'mon people give him your vote

edit: actually it doesn't really matter, there's nothing in the rules that says dpex has to give it to the one with the most votes - just the one who is most 'deserving'.

If you'd simply notified them of the thread they could have put their own names forward and then you wouldn't have missed out on being the cool guy that helped them get a free ART track day. He clearly stated what the criteria of the person receiving the 'prize' was and you chose to ignore that - it's no one's fault but your own.

If you were still YamahaR64life rather than 'Indian Tiger' or 'Criminal' do you think he would have even put you on the voting list?

Nice try with the reverse psychology - this was always about dpex helping out noobs, not about you trying to score brownie points with hot chicks.

Yeah well, the fact is the free day has gone to Hiflyer. But I have to say I've been kicking myself silly for forgetting William before I posted the offer.

So, to make up, and seeing he's such a good kid, and seeing as I'm a member of AMCC, so I get a good rate. You book him in to a track-day, tell me the when, and I'll pay for it.

BTW: I'm slightly pleased to have you acknowledge that Old Zimmer is a 'Machine'. Oh yeah.:--)) Despite the fact that since I bought it from you I've replaced just about everything except the motor. Did I get a good deal or what???
