    I didn't know THAT!

    Learned two things this morning.

1.) If you pull out of a side road in front of a bike, thereby causing that bike to brake hard and "tootle melodiously etc", an apologetic wave of the hand makes it all better...

2.) Scooters have the right of way over pedestrians on a pedestrian crossing. I didn't know THAT! Turns out the pedestrians are expected to leap out of the way of the scoot as its jandal clad shorts wearer barrels through...

Best I re-read the road code.

I thought number 2 was common knowledge.....

Scooters also have a force field meaning no protective gear is required.

Mobility scooters have the r.o.w to EVERYTHING. Their owners fought in the war and thus all traffic and pedestrians WILL stop for them or get out of the way

Oh they are so scarey....they get this whole mean gruesome look on their faces as they bare down on you and if you don't jump out of the way their lovely balls of fluff will bite your ankles.

Lucky scooter riders, I thought it was pedestrians that walk out in front of bikes no matter what? They just walk out in front of a 200+kilo mass going about 50k and then expect you to stop just because you don't have four wheels. I guess they wouldn't try it with a 4X4?

I've learnt sumtin' today too, if you ride a scooter in the protests, dont try to approach and be friends with bikers unless you like rejection, or being written off unfairly and abused.

Bikers are very narrowly represented with their 'holy than tho', fundamental, protective clothing theology that they impose on the global scootering community, derision of Harleys, Maoris, poetry, Helen Clark or any pet peave that they have sycophantically rallied support against, often in an ugly, pack dog mentality sort of way.

A valid critique of protesting methods may result in angry, vengeful mobbing against the said dissident...........burn him!!!!!!

    Oh well too bad eh

Apparently car drivers are allowed to ignore 'STOP' signs if a Postie is crossing the road.

One of our guys got in trouble for wrongly assuming that the car driver would STOP and not knock his bike over.

    What a moron he is....................

Let's hope that other employers are a little more supportive towards their staff.

The "if you can't beat them" mentality... just beware of the transition horrors.

It might sound silly but....My little MadAss commuter has a very similar sitting/bar position to my mental streetfighter, but 8HP Vs 180HP.

Can make for an interesting transition from time to time Especially when you still have the Scooter moron routine installed

I popped through a traffic light this morning that was green when I entered and turned orange as I left the intersection.

    Big deal, no issue here.

It was noticing the THREE cars behind me in my mirror that went through the same light that put the shits up me.
