    Look after your license

From conversations with people in the last few days,it seems the number of speeding tickets being issued down our way (Sth Island, top to Chch) is fairly high.
A couple of people I talked to have only 10 demerits away from walking. So if you're coming on down take it easy, save some money & have a safe holiday break.

Actually that is incorrect, speeding DOES NOT kill, crashing or hitting something else harder than yourself kills.

How many people do (did) you know who died just from speeding?.

Doesn't really matter tho as the feds don't see the funny side of it either way and we pay the wankers to take away our enjoyment ... I missed something somewhere.

    Noted.
However, there really are some dead-set dickheads out there on bikes.
Was heading up Princes Dr yesterday arvo, when this plonker decided to overtake SIX cars in one go! Around corners and in the face of oncoming cars.
This guy is the type of reason ACC are looking at increases and why some of us get tarred with the same brush as our backwards baseball-cap, trousers half way down their arse's kid racers!

Sure are. One of my workmates was late to work the other day. He rides from Morrinsville to Hamilton. Got stopped three times for "random checks" of rego, warrant, and licence. (didn't get a ticket for anything) He asked at the last stop what was going on, and was told that people on bikes break the law a lot. Ride with wrong licences etc. I think bikes are their current focus.

I watched some fat gutted bastard of a parking warden berate a guy this morning who had stopped on a yellow line to let his Mrs and kids out of the car. He was off the road, causing no obstruction but was, as a result of the yellow lines, technically in breach of the rules. But I mean, he was there for maybe ten to twenty seconds and then moved on...verily, they police the letter of the law instead of the spirit...

I took much pleasure in making piggie noises at said warden (soooo mature). Fat fucker. (I think his name tag said Grinch or summat...)

You're supposed to have a license?
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Got stung myself the other day 125kph. $170 + 35 demerits seems to be a lot of them about at the moment. Must say the cop was quite good about it.After handing me the infringement notice he reminded me that my rego was on hold andsent me on my way.

Saw a f*ckwit on a Hardly, complete with ape hangers and german helmet, white line it (actually it was a double yellow) past me today. There's nothing like overtaking on a blind right hander with oncoming traffic.

I was not fucking impressed. I mean, I take the odd calculated risk, but this shit was just wrong.

    Rant over.

    Merry Xmas

edit. I was in my cage by the way.
