had a nice wee ride up to the hill top, not bad for a newbie!

E Ashmore, I promise by the end of Jan I will be doing the Duv run!

Lovely ride back into town where Flip was behind me for some of the way, probably the only time I'll be in front of him (granted it was through Halswell)

Nice to see you along on the ride Roger!!

il hold you to that. its not much further than hill top. cos you can stop at duv and have a drink and something to eat. or just turn round like we did yesterday

After talking with flip and dave3362, i hope i can speak for all of us and say it was a pleasure to (now how do i say this with out being dodgy) take them for a motorcycle ride, and i for one am willing to take them on more rides if they so wish to (and dont mind coming on my bike)

Hey HOT there's allways Lees Valley or Bossu if they want to get dusty.
I've got two DRs in my garage at the moment and yours makes seating for three... if they can handle the seats and are interested in another side of it all.
Actually they looked like they'd probably prefer the nice clean big bike sealed road experience.

Would've been a cracker night last night to go for a spin but I had a xmas business dinner I had to attend. The DR's getting dusty & probably needs a run to blow the cobwebbs out. All going well I'll try to get out in the next week or two. Have just sold my business & are getting another up & running. Not enough hours in the day. Merry Xmas to All KBer's & have a safe new year in 2010. ( Paul )

Bit like the FXR speedo. Said I hit 140 on the way home. Reckon it would have been about 132.

I dont think I buttoned off the throttle more than 5 times on the way home.

A very good ride, the FXR is certainly a very capable bike. Its reminded me a thing or two about maintaining speed through the corners.

Merry xmas all, was nice to get out last night, went home via the way we came, and enjoyed it muchly. Went to the warehouse at northwood to pick up some final supplies. Duh, I tell ya a mighty 240+kg bike laying on ya leg sucks. I for some stupid reason thought I had put the side stand down. It later appeared after the bike reached it's "you aint gunna stop me" moment, that I had not. No damage, apart from breaking the end off the clutch lever, the consolation of those pazzo levers is that the breaking point on them works. whew!!! lol.

All the best to all for the jolly season!!!! rock on!!!
