Manawatu Friday Night Ride. (Be there or be in the square).

I'm still not sure what's going down tomorrow but just a suggestion...
Perhaps we could launch the FNR early tomorrow night, say 4:30 or 5:00 pm following the usual formula and be home in the daylight which would be nice for a change.

Discuss....

Pegasus and I are keen to meet up at 4.30 and maybe kick off at 5.00pm.

Have been told no to ride(well heading to Wanganui on bike for xmas lunch with mum)and home about 3ish to clean bbq,which I didn't bloody use last time,so it will be clean for tea.

Anyone wanting to help me drink a few beers,enjoy cooking(yeah right bbq)feel free to join about 6.30ish or maybe 8.00,not keeping eye on time frame.

I don't (at the moment) see anything stopping me so 4:30 sounds good at the usual place, leave at 5:00.

A thought.
Over the Saddle though Balance back over the Track. Not really bothered to much where we go though, just a thought. Dunno if the re-opened pub in Ashhurst will be open or not but we'll be able to find out before we leave I guess but thinking finish there too..

Had a nice ride with Sarge & Owl as above, without the pub. I tried reeeealy hard to keep up on the straight bits

I jokingly said there's a ride tonight,see ya later,to which the reply was along the lines of yeah and no ride tonight

but had to clean bbq(was left in excellent condition from last use)after it was used when I was away.And seeing those involved would've been left way behind in speed terms.

Saw a few guys for tomorrows racing set up camp and set in for the day in Wangas when leaving mums place,and she is thinking of going to watch,not bad for a rising 68yr old eh.
