I can only comment for me, but I have to say that the level of support I have had from everyone on the Wed night rides has been awesome, I know my riding ability and I do try not to hold everyone else up, but thankfully they do understand that the "L" plate is just that, I'm learning so if they do get stuck behind me, they can overtake if it's safe to do so and they don't complain about it! I understand that the level of riding varies biker to biker so there is a wealth of knowledge to be had. It is easy for the more competent riders to become complacent about learners, but just remember you were a learner once and had to learn everything we have too! Rather than bitch and moan about the riding style of learners talk to them and find out where they are in their learning and help teach them about riding safely amongst the group. Riding in a group like ours is awesome as the people are very helpful and friendly!!!!

In saying that I'm confident enough to ask for help if I need it but there could be other people that wouldn't and these are the people that need the help not just someone saying that they should know how to fit in and know how to ride. They may not know the dynamics of the group but are too afraid to ask!! Cause, come on, some of you are scary!!!

laRIKin has just provided me with a replacement speedo drive & cable & fitted it on the Ducati,& a lighter/adjustable clutch lever,thank you so much!

(I have horrific Carpel Tunnel Syndrome atm,any riding is a struggle so lighter levers help)

yeah i pulled the fingers at you as you went up colombo just now while i was waiting for my new clutch cover, but you were being far too cool to see me. again.
