    New F4 & F5 GP Champs congrats

Well it appears I'm first back at a PC So I'll announce congrats to the two new GP champs.

F4 Andrew A from Wgtn. On a dirty diesel FXR. I don't know any other placings as it was only by text. Must have ridden a stella race, bet he is well happy with that result.

    F5 Nathanial (sp?) D.

Someone will fill in the placings & goss underneath (or ignore this & post them in an entirely different thread).

Another well run event, a big thank you to the organisers.

It is fantastic to see the share number of riders from around the country and well prepared & presented bikes that attended the event. It was a great demonstration of the F4 and F5 classes; with great battles throughout the field. From the comments that heard around the track the crowd showed great interest in what was shown (which can only be good for the future of the classes).

Congratulations to the new National Champions; wear the number one plates with pride.

I didn't look at the times, just what his dad had told me, but it had me going slower than the year before by ~ 7 seconds a lap & that is night & day & it didn't feel like it. As I said the timing there is more guess work that anything else, they come up with some wacky results. The only time I rode with Nat was on the warm up lap, I did a lazy roll out of a corner so I could pull in behind when he was on full song on the back straight. His bike was hauling pretty well, but I caught up & dragged him after the connecting chicane & he was pretty tentative down the hill onto the straight. But the red flag was now out as we entered the straight for the start so you can hardly judge a race speed by the warm up can you?

AJ's Pitbitch extrordinaire here. Bugger that - next time he can pit for me and i will get out there on the bucket

Was fun meeting some of the guys and gals who make up wellington buckets. What a great group of people. Some pix below.

1 and 2 - what an awesome line up in the bucket pit - how many bikes....!

    what a day

and to be in frount of F5Dave for most of a race (sorry about the bad start)

I must say that was the best year yet (and only going to get better)
    4 pit garages (5-6-7-8) full of buckets + 1 rs125

and I went better than I have ever gone before (best place of 13th)
see you all next year (I think they had better run 2 classes for the F4's)
there where way more bikes than any other class out there
