    TL1000R battery question.

Just back from a 3 week holiday, went to fire up me bike but just a 'whur whur' noise.Battery dead.
So...my (dumass) question is...where the hell on the bike is it?
Every bike I've owned it's always been located under the seat!
Will it be accessable with jumper leads?
    Is it under the tank?
Can it be jump started if it is?
Can I jump start it off my car (I've done this before with my old GSXR but it blew my cars computer thingy,$600 repair bill).
    Any advice muchly appreciated.

Behind the left hand bottom fairing. As for jump starting,2nd gear and a decent hill,if your a gambling man.Always found it amazing that considering they parked a caravan on the rearend of those things they didnt just fill up some of it with the battery eh.

Heya mate, still couldn't get her going, she turns over ok just no bite, think I may have flooded it.Managed to get hold of some spike proof jumper leads so hooked it up to my car but like I said, she turns over but no kick.
May give it another go soon, have had the battery charger on it since yesterday so here's hoping!
    Cheers and happy new year!

The were originally supposed to out-Ducati Ducati with a better V-twin, remember? The Ducati's have got the battery in a similar spot on t'other side to get a bit more weight over the front wheel ( L-twin rather than V-twin design restricted how far forward they could position the engine).
